Arusha is the starting point of any northern-circuit safari itinerary or mountain trek and is serviced by Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha Airport. It is often overlooked by travellers who stay only one night but there is much more to Arusha than meets the eye.

Arusha hosts a large number of accommodation options including lodges located on the outskirts of town, hotels located in the heart of the city, 5-star establishments and coffee lodges; there is something for everyone.

Whether you want to unwind by the pool, relax with a massage at a day spa, explore the street markets, enjoy a drink or meal at a local bar and restaurant or discover some of the city’s hidden treasures; an extra few days in Arusha is a wonderful addition to any wildlife safari or mountain trek.

Dar es Salaam, or Dar as it’s called by the locals, is the largest city in Tanzania and is another option for those arriving on international flights. Located on the coast, Dar es Salaam is East Africa’s second busiest shipping port and located a short 1-hour flight from Arusha and we can book internal flights on your behalf as well as accommodation if required.

Nairobi, the bustling city of Kenya, is another option for those arriving on international flights. Nairobi is located 6 hours north of Arusha and serviced by a shuttle bus service departing at 8am and 2pm daily or a short 1-hour flight and we can book internal flights or the shuttle bus on your behalf.
